Ingredients Needed for Christmas Sugar Cookies:
1 cup confectionary sugar
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
4 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
Preparation Instructions:

Christmas Sugar Cookies
Cream together the sugars, margarine and vegetable oil. Once these are well blended mix in the eggs and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl sift together the flour, cream of tartar, salt, and soda.
Combine the two mixtures and put the final dough in the refrigerator until it is well chilled, overnight works best but a few hours will be OK.
When you are ready to bake your Christmas Sugar Cookies preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
Roll the cookie dough into balls about 1 inch in diameter and put them on a cookie sheet. Using a glass press the dough balls to the desired thickness. Now, if you like, you can use a cookie cutter to make some nice shapes.
Bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes and keep an eye on them so they don’t get over done or burned.
